Insights:
Many readers abandon the Discworld series because the many sub-series and companion maps and books make choosing the right place to start for them incredibly daunting.
Solution:
A data visualisation website was created that allows users to select a character who's story they wish to follow and the website will highlight which books the character appears in. They are also provided with the option to highlight all the books in a certain sub-series, or highlight all the best books for beginners to the world. Should the user select one of the books, they will be provided with a brief synopsis. The bottom of the site will link directly to the Discworld Emporium shop to draw returning users to make a purchase.
This website will only be viewable on Desktop as that format is optimised for displaying large amounts of information. A small interactive page on mobile will direct users to rather switch to desktop to view the website. Please view the website walkthrough below...
